Continuing on with the idea from my last post, paradoxes in photography, I wanted to show a technique called cloning. The idea is to take multiple pictures of a subject (Preferably a human) from a stationary camera and to combine the photos together in Photoshop to create a surreal environment. I love this picture for the quirkiness of it, the guy is wearing this bright striped t-shirt and part of his body is cut away. I love the repetition in the picture (Duh), but repeating the trees was a really nice touch. It has a great sense of depth as the viewers eye goes to the guy in the foreground, before moving on to the midground and background.
